It is that time of year that practices have begun (or beginning to start) and unfortunately weather is a concern for all of us. Hopefully this memo will assist the coaches and parents in determining the appropriate lines of communication regarding practicing (or not) in our ever changing weather environment.

 

 

Website – is updated when there are changes to field status.  

 

Weather Line – 303-399-5858 (ext 5) – as soon as the line is answered press 5 and you will be taken to our weather line. The weather line is updated as often as possible when field closure information is available from either the club, City of Aurora or the City of Denver. Both the City of Denver and City of Aurora are monitoring field conditions and will usually post by mid-afternoon (3:00 p.m.) if they are closing their facilities for that day. We post this information to our website and weather line as soon as updates are made available.   

 

Due to the nature of our weather and multiple practice locations the best source of information regarding practice is your individual team contacts. Please check with your coach about your teams mode of communication. We will do all that we can to provide information but ultimately the decision not to practice is that of the team and families (unless the facilities have been closed). We encourage all involved to err on the side of safety.
