Congratulations to the Denver East Boys High School Team for winning the 2011 5A Colorado State Soccer Championship game against Heritage High School. The game took place in the Colorado Rapids stadium and our club was well represented. 16 of the 22 East varsity players are current Fusion players while 10 of the 16 played together on last year’s U16 Fusion Mundial team. Many of these boys have been with our club for more than 10 years including Caden Mackenzie and Austin Neureiter who each scored a goal in the final. When looking at the upcoming talent on current Fusion and Rapids U11-U14 teams, we can only advise East to get ready for more championships.
