You like the idea of introducing your child to soccer and the fun and excitement of learning the game. Now all you need is a soccer club to call home. That’s what you’ll find with Colorado Fusion Soccer Club. Serving Denver, Aurora and Commerce City, Colorado Fusion Soccer Club is a youth development organization that uses the world’s greatest game to build healthy children, to provide our kids with mentors that will have a lifelong impact and to ensure that your child develops skills that they can use on and off the field. Our focus is on your child, making sure they have fun while learning the game of soccer.

Programs

Our programs are tailor made for your child. We are the only club in the metro area that follows the US Youth Soccer model, ensuring that kids learn the game in developmentally appropriate environments that match their ages and their skills.

Colorado Fusion Soccer Club is organized by academies, each with its own program director, experienced and licensed soccer professionals who know and love the sport. The academies offer high quality coaching and organizational support for both recreational and competitive teams, as well as specialized individual and team instruction through our Fusion Premier Training programs.

Add to that mix our strong relationship as a preferred partner with the Colorado Rapids through the adidas Alliance and you’ll find that Colorado Fusion soccer is a cut above the rest. Player & Teams

We are proud of our players and our teams, which are typically formed neighborhood by neighborhood, even street by street. Your kids play soccer with their friends, coached by parents and friends who help them love the game as much as we do.

· Our program for three year olds (the Fab 4 program) is an introduction to soccer for 3 and 4 year olds, where our staff coaches will work with your child to develop motor skills and basic technical soccer skills through fun and imaginative games. Each season consists of six sessions (one per week) that last 45 minutes each.

· Our 4 and 5 year old players are formed into teams that play three-on-three soccer on a small field with no goalkeepers. Each team consists of six players. They practice once a week and have games on Saturdays.

· At 6 and 7 years old players are formed into teams that play four-on-four soccer on a larger field with no goalkeepers. These teams consist of eight to nine players. They practice once a week and have games on Saturdays.

· Our 8 and 9 year old players are formed into teams that play six-on-six soccer with goalkeepers on a field that ensures that each child gets a maximum number of touches. These teams consist of nine to twelve players. They generally practice twice a week and have games on Saturdays.

· At 10 years old our players are provided with a variety of options to meet their developmental needs, to ensure appropriate levels of competition and to ensure that each child continues to have fun playing soccer. Developmental and competitive teams generally consist of fourteen to eighteen players. They practice two to three times a week and have games on Saturdays. Competitive teams also participate in occasional tournaments in the metro area, statewide and even out of state. Children looking for more competitive play, participate in our player placement process designed to provide appropriate developmental opportunities with our competitive teams.

If you don’t have a team identified, we will make every effort to ensure that your child is placed with other children near your neighborhood. Our age group chart will help determine what age group your player is in.

Parents & Coaches

Parents and coaches are the key to our success as a soccer club. As parents, you help encourage our players and make sure that we all have a great time. Many parents also make the program possible by serving as volunteer coaches and as team managers. If you are interested in coaching, it’s important to realize that you are not alone. Our academy directors are professionals who provide you with the practice to practice curriculum you need to make sure that the kids have fun and learn soccer the Fusion way. Our directors and support staff provide preseason training, provide outlines for training sessions and ideas for running great practices and attend team practices throughout the year help demonstrate exercises and are always available for tips and tricks for our coaches. Research shows that youth sports coaches are one of the most respected groups of adults that kids will ever come in contact with.
